On Being an Artist:

I seek to:
+ Challenge the norms of contemporary society.

+ Find the sacred and transcendent moment in the repetition of every day life.

+ Preserve the dialogue of craft and other activities that are seen as women's activities (i.e.: embroidery, baking, knitting, etc.).

+ Define myself as unique and different from my male artist counterpart.

+ Continue to ask questions about the contemporary standards, stereotypes, and expectations held for women.
